How We Protect You

How we protect You

Rabo AgriFinance uses many advanced security measures to protect you while you are using our websites.

Below are just a few of the measures we use:

  • Unique login IDs and passwords - You select your own login ID and password.
  • Firewalls - Blocks unauthorized access to the Rabo AgriFinance computer system, where your information is kept.
  • 128-bit Encryption - Scrambles information being transmitted between Rabo AgriFinance and online banking into a code that is virtually impossible for outsiders to decipher.
  • Monitoring - We monitor for unusual activity on your accounts. However, this is not fool-proof and does not take the place of you regularly monitoring your accounts.

Technology

We protect our computer system with backup files, virus detection software, firewalls, and other computer software and hardware. By taking these measures to protect the integrity of our computer system, we are also helping ensure the safety of your personal information.

Limited Employee Access

Access to account information is restricted to only those employees who are required to have access to it in order to assist you. Rabo AgriFinance employees are required to keep customer information confidential, and are subject to disciplinary action or termination if they fail to do so.

Physical Security

Strict policies and procedures are used at all Rabo AgriFinance locations to protect the physical security of you, our staff and any sensitive information. These procedures are regularly reviewed and updated to account for changing threats and ensure compliance with federal laws.

Protecting Yourself from Bank Impersonation Scams

Scammers may contact our clients via phone or text, posing as representatives from Rabobank or Rabo AgriFinance. They might instruct you to transfer funds to another account, claiming it is necessary to reverse fraudulent activity or correct a late payment on your account. Please be aware that these requests are fraudulent.

Rabobank and Rabo AgriFinance will never ask you to provide personal information or payments using unauthorized channels.

Tips to help you stay safe:

  • Know who you're talking to: You can verify that you're speaking with us by hanging up and calling the contact numbers on our website.
  • Take a moment: Think about what they're asking for, and verify they are who they say they are, especially if it feels urgent or pressured — it is likely a scam.
  • Be careful when sending money: It's important to verify you're not sending money to a scammer. Once you send money you may not be able to get it back.
